Jacquie Moses - Wellbeing educator
Jacquie has a career specialising in community and people development, spanning 20 years. She has extensive experience of designing and facilitating programmes for education, back to work and the criminal justice system.
She has worked in both the private sector and with community groups/organisations, working with young people, ex-offenders, long term unemployed, leaders, entrepreneurs, social housing residents, homeless young people, people dealing with addictions and prisoners.
Helping individuals and communities and in particular young people to understand and access wellbeing is Jacquie’s passion and specialism. Currently she is a lead facilitator in a UK prison, where she facilitates weekly wellbeing groups, one to one sessions and now trains prisoners as peer facilitators. The results of this programme have led to individuals having life changing insights that have created sustainable change in the way they think, behave, handle their addictions and prison life.
Jacquie has a proven track record in delivering one to one and group coaching in life skills, self employment, confidence building, entrepreneurship, employability skills for young people and welfare to work programmes and various personal development programmes.
Resilience and Mental Wellbeing Educator
Facilitator in a UK prison delivering group and one to one sessions. Also co-facilitating resilience and mental wellbeing programmes at Pret, the homeless charity Centrepoint, in schools and with community organisations.
Life Skills and Employability Pinnacle People – Welfare to work
Delivered group training and one to one coaching to help people build their confidence, develop the relevant skills and attitude for job searching and preparing for employment or self-employment. A range of customers including young people, the long term unemployed, ex offenders and people with a range of mental health issues.
Entrepreneurs in action
Delivered a range of enterprise and employability skills programmes over 12 years– Entrepreneur In You, Raising your game, Classroom to boardroom to over 1200 students in schools and universities. Special Project with key business partners in Croydon and AON Insurance company - co-designed and delivered a one day group programme to help AON select 25 of the best candidates for employment, out of 125 unemployed people.
Conversations for Change
Designed and delivered an extensive range of soft skills programmes to employees, social housing residents, young people, women and ex-offenders, clients have included Sure Starts, Croydon Peoples Housing Association, Lambeth Council, the Guinness Trust and Clean Break
Life Skills and Empowerment Coach Goals UK
Worked one to one with residents of Kensington and Chelsea Council on a weekly basis to help them build their confidence and skills to search for work, further their education and basic skills for life. As a result residents got jobs, returned to education and became more engaged in the community. Many of the clients were long term unemployed with different challenges.
Organisational Development Projects Officer Hammersmith and Fulham Council
Responsible for staff engagement on key projects such as H&F people awards, Leadership conference, Long service awards, staff survey. Project co-ordinator for the new performance management scheme rolled out throughout the council. As a result the first phase of the scheme was rolled out successfully, on time and within budget.
Resident Involvement Officer Thames Housing Association
As the co-ordinator of stakeholder engagement programmes, designed and delivered training to increase the number of residents actively involved in the planning and key decision making of services’, this initiative increased the residents’ confidence in the organisation and resulted in higher levels of engagement across community projects and events such as the annual tenants conference and youth forum.
Network for teaching entrepreneurs (NFTE) (Schools)
Project co-ordinator for the Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship (NFTE) Responsible for empowering young people to develop life skills and confidence through business education. Worked with key partners, DFES, schools and local councils. Trained and coached teachers to deliver the entrepreneurship programme funded by the DFES and organised learning events for schools and young people including the first ever trade fair open to the general public.
Marketing Consultant Western Union UK
Freelance consultant winning the marketing account for Western Union Money Transfer UK, I increased Western Union’s profile and market share by more than 200% and managed the national corporate sponsorship programme, sponsoring events such as Notting Hill Carnival and El Pueblo Carnival, two of the UK’s biggest street events.
Marketing Manager The Voice communication group
Responsible for planning and delivering the national/international marketing and sponsorship strategy for The Voice newspaper, Weekly Journal and Pride magazine. Worked with key advertising agencies and designed successful reader promotions to increase the circulation of the publication. Responsible for providing financial sponsorship to hundreds of community organisations with an emphasis on capacity building for their future.
